Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of this Site and the digital adventure we deliver after an Etsy purchase. By using the Site you agree to them. If you buy on Etsy, Etsy’s checkout terms also apply to the payment.
1. Who may use the Site
The Site is operated for parents, guardians, and gift-givers. Children may enjoy the story with an adult. You must be old enough to form a contract in your country, or have a parent complete the purchase.
2. The product
We supply a digital illustrated story (PDF and online reader), not a printed-and-posted book unless you print it yourself. One Etsy order is fulfilled for one personalization (one child’s explorer name and one companion name), unless the Etsy listing clearly says otherwise.
3. Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read, download, and print the PDF for your household. You may not resell the files, scrape the story text, train AI models on it, or republish the illustrations.
4. Acceptable use
Do not abuse the claim form, guess other people’s adventure links, attack the Site, or submit content that is unlawful. We may refuse or cancel a personalization that we cannot verify against an Etsy order.
5. Accuracy of names
You are responsible for spelling the child’s name and your email. A book sent to a mistyped address may not be recoverable. Contact us promptly if you need a correction before we approve the request.
6. Availability
We aim for continuous access but do not warrant uninterrupted service. Adventure links are private; keep them like a receipt.
7. Liability
The story is entertainment. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any right that cannot be limited in your country (including mandatory EU consumer rights).
8. Governing law
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you also enjoy the mandatory protections of your country of residence. Otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator’s place of establishment, without prejudice to those consumer protections.
