Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
Last updated 14 August 2026
The Secret of Dino Valley is a story for children, sold to adults. This page is our Children’s Privacy Notice under the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar rules in the EU/UK.
What a parent submits
A parent or guardian provides: their own name and email, an Etsy order number, a child’s first name (or a nickname), and a dinosaur name. We use this only to print the story, certificate, and emails about that order.
What we do not do
- We do not create social profiles or public directories of children.
- We do not display the child’s name on a public gallery.
- We do not use child data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
- We do not ask for photos, school names, precise geolocation, or health data.
- We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under 13 without a parent.
Parental rights
A parent may review, correct, or delete the personalization data tied to their order by emailing your-real-admin@email.com from the address used on the claim, with the Etsy order number. We will also stop using that data for new emails if you ask us to, except where we must keep a record.
